If you made changes to your Press Hook brand profile but the updates are not appearing, here are the most common causes and how to fix them.
Check That You Clicked Save
Press Hook requires you to click "Save" after making changes to your profile. If you navigate away from a page before saving, your changes will be lost. After making edits, look for a "Save" or "Update" button and click it before leaving the page.
Clear Your Browser Cache
Sometimes your browser shows a cached (older) version of your profile even after saving changes successfully. To confirm whether your changes actually saved:
Open your profile in a private/incognito browser window.
If the changes appear there, the issue is just your browser cache. Clear your cache and refresh the page in your regular browser.
How to clear cache: In Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data. Select "Cached images and files" and click "Clear data."
Image Upload Issues
If product images or profile images are not saving, check the following:
File format: Images must be JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png). Other formats like HEIC, TIFF, or WebP are not supported.
File size: Images must be under 10 MB. If your image is too large, resize it before uploading.
Internet connection: Large images need a stable connection. If the upload seems to freeze or fail, try again on a stronger connection.
See "Product Image Requirements and Specifications" for detailed image guidelines.
Required Fields Are Missing
Some profile sections have required fields that must be filled in before you can save. If a required field is empty or contains invalid data (for example, a website URL without "https://"), the save may fail. Look for red error messages or highlighted fields near the save button.
Browser Compatibility
Press Hook works best on the latest versions of Chrome and Safari. If you are using an older browser or a less common one, try switching to Chrome. Also make sure to disable any browser extensions that might interfere with form submissions (ad blockers or privacy extensions can sometimes cause issues).
My Changes Saved but Don't Appear on My Public Profile
Some changes may take a few minutes to appear on your public-facing profile. If the changes still do not appear after 15 minutes, try:
Logging out and logging back in.
Viewing your profile in an incognito window.
Checking that you edited the correct brand (if you have multiple brands on your account).
