If you are having trouble logging in to Press Hook, this article covers the most common causes and how to fix them.

I Forgot My Password

If you do not remember your password:

  1. Go to presshook.com/login.

  2. Click "Forgot Password?" below the password field.

  3. Enter your email address and check your inbox for a reset link.

  4. Click the link and create a new password.

If you do not receive the reset email, check your spam folder. The email comes from support@presshook.com or noreply@presshook.com. See "How to Reset Your Password" for more details.

I'm Entering the Correct Password but It's Not Working

If you are sure your password is correct but still cannot log in, try these steps:

Clear your browser cache and cookies. Outdated cached data can interfere with login. After clearing, close and reopen your browser, then try again.

Try a different browser. If you are using Safari, try Chrome (or vice versa). This helps rule out browser-specific issues.

Check for caps lock. Passwords are case-sensitive. Make sure caps lock is not accidentally turned on.

Try a private/incognito window. This bypasses cached data and browser extensions that might interfere with login.

My Account Is Not Verified Yet (Media Professionals)

If you created a media account and cannot access the platform, your account may still be under review. Media accounts require verification, which typically takes 1-3 business days. You will receive an email when your account is approved.

If it has been more than 3 business days, contact our support team with your name, email, and the outlet you work for.

I'm Getting an Error Message

If you see a specific error message when trying to log in, here are the most common ones:

"Invalid email or password" β€” Double-check that you are using the correct email address associated with your Press Hook account. If you have multiple email addresses, try each one. If none work, use the password reset process.

"Account not found" β€” This means there is no account associated with the email address you entered. Check for typos, or create a new account if you have not signed up yet.

"Account deactivated" β€” Your account may have been deactivated due to inactivity or at your own request. Contact our support team to discuss reactivation.

I Use Shopify to Log In

If you originally signed up for Press Hook through the Shopify integration, you may need to log in through Shopify rather than the main Press Hook login page. Go to your Shopify admin, find the Press Hook app, and access your account from there. See "How to Find Your Shopify App ID" for help locating the integration.

I Still Can't Get In

If none of the above solutions work, contact our support team with the following information:

  • The email address you are trying to use

  • The browser and device you are using

  • A screenshot of any error message you see

We will investigate and help you regain access.
