How to Add or Remove Users from Your Account

Learn how to invite team members to your Press Hook account, assign them to specific brands, and remove users when needed.

You can add multiple team members to your Press Hook account and control which brands each user can access. This is useful for agencies managing multiple brands or growing teams that need shared access.

How to Add a New User

  1. Log in to your Press Hook account.

  2. Click the three dots (...) in the upper-right corner of your screen.

  3. Select "Manage Users" from the dropdown menu. This takes you to the User Management page.

  4. Click "Add User" and enter the new user's email address.

  5. Select which Brand or Expert profile the new user should be associated with.

  6. Choose the permission level (Standard or Admin).

The new user will receive an email invitation to complete their registration. Once they sign up, they will only receive correspondence from and have access to the brands you selected.

How to Remove a User

To remove a user, go to the User Management page (same steps as above), find the user you want to remove, and click "Remove." Removing a user revokes their access immediately but does not delete any brand data or content they created.

User Permission Levels

Standard users can edit brand profiles, respond to media, and manage day-to-day activity for the brands they are assigned to.

Admin users can do everything standard users can, plus add new brands to the account, invite or remove other users, and manage billing.

Note: If you want individual team members to be able to add brands on their own, make sure to give them Admin permissions.

Common Questions

Can I assign one user to multiple brands?

Yes. When adding a user, you can select multiple brands for them to access. This is especially useful for agency teams managing several clients.

What happens to a user's work when I remove them?

All brand profiles, products, press releases, and other content they created remains on the account. Removing a user only revokes their login access.

I added a user but they didn't receive the invitation email.

Ask the new user to check their spam or junk folder for an email from Press Hook. If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, you can resend the invitation from the User Management page. If the issue persists, contact our support team.
