Press Hook is built to support PR agencies and marketing firms that manage media relations for multiple clients. This guide walks you through setting up your agency account and managing multiple brands from a single dashboard.
Step 1: Create Your Agency Account
Start by creating a new account at presshook.com. During registration, select the option that best describes your organization. If you are an agency managing brands on behalf of clients, you will be able to add multiple brand profiles under your account.
Step 2: Add Your Client Brands
Once your account is set up, you can add brand profiles for each of your clients:
Log in to your Press Hook account.
Navigate to your dashboard and look for the "Add Brand" option.
Fill in your client's brand information, including brand name, logo, website, description, and product details.
Repeat for each client brand you manage.
Each brand profile operates independently, meaning media professionals will see and interact with each brand on its own merits. Your agency name does not appear on individual brand profiles unless you choose to include it.
Step 3: Invite Your Team
You can invite team members and assign them to specific client brands:
Click the three dots (β¦) in the upper-right corner of your screen.
Select "Manage Users."
Click "Add User" and enter your team member's email address.
Select which brands this team member should have access to.
Choose their permission level (Standard or Admin).
Standard users can manage the brands they are assigned to β editing profiles, responding to media, and handling sample requests. Admin users can also add new brands, invite other team members, and manage billing.
Step 4: Build Out Each Brand Profile
For each client brand, make sure to complete the profile fully. A complete profile significantly increases the chances of being discovered by media. For each brand, include:
A compelling brand description that highlights the unique value proposition
High-quality product images (at least 3-5 per brand)
Key products with descriptions and pricing
Press releases for any recent news
Team bios or expert profiles if relevant
See "How to Set Up Your Brand Profile" for detailed guidance on building a strong profile.
Managing Multiple Brands
Your Press Hook dashboard gives you an overview of activity across all your client brands. You can switch between brands to view individual dashboards, track media engagement by brand, and manage pitches and source requests for each client separately.
Tip: Set up a regular schedule to review each client's dashboard. This helps you spot new media opportunities (like source requests) quickly and keeps all profiles active and up to date.
Agency Billing
Agency accounts are billed based on the plan you select and the number of brands on your account. Higher-tier plans include more brands and additional features like pitch assistance and priority placement. See "Press Hook Pricing Plans Explained" for details on available plans.
